What happens if I move?
If you decide to move during the term of our agreement, you can raise the price of your home to reflect the added value of SunRun with one of three easy options. Before you move, you can:
1. Assign the SunRun agreement to the new homeowner.
2. Prepay the remainder of the agreement and add the value of the agreement to your home's selling price.
3. Purchase the system from SunRun and wrap the value of the equipment into your home's selling price.
Does SunRun insure the system for me?
SunRun insures your solar system with coverage from premier carriers so you don't have to.
Do I still get incentives from the government with SunRun?
If you go solar alone, you get a modest tax credit and state rebate (in California) for purchasing a solar system, but these would only cover a fraction of the high cost of system ownership. With our business expertise, regulatory knowledge, and tax know-how, along with our experience buying and maintaining solar systems, we can provide truly unbeatable savings on solar and spare you from haggling with the IRS and state rebate offices.
